Following the new M.O.T. rules taken place on May 20 2018, faults found during examination your car are categorised as:
- dangerous,
- major,
- minor.

Body, structure and general items. Includes body and components such as spoilers, bumpers and mirror housings.

Driver's view of the road
checked during M.O.T. test present any malfunction tester will assign category dipending on the seriousness of the fault. If fault will be classified as "dangerous", vehicle can not be driven. in this case car has to be tow or in extreme situation transported by recovery.
